About us

A go-to-market engineering company

We build the systems that produce pipeline — enrichment, scoring, signal-based outbound and attribution — inside the CRM you already own, and we leave the runbook behind.

How does the company work?

Go-to-market engineering

The GTM Engineering Company

Most companies do not have a go-to-market problem. They have a systems problem that shows up as one: data nobody trusts, tools that do not talk to each other, and research a person still does by hand.

What do we build?

Pipeline infrastructure, inside your stack.
  • Enrichment and deduplication at the source, not in a spreadsheet afterwards
  • Account scoring written back to the CRM, where the rep already works
  • Outbound that starts from a signal, and attribution that survives being questioned
You end up with:a revenue system that runs whether or not anyone remembers to run it.

How does a build run?

Weekly sessions, not status emails.
  • Live table builds on your own data, on the call
  • Every build recorded, so training is watching rather than shadowing
  • Quick wins in the first 2 to 4 weeks, a full engine by day 90
You end up with:a team that can already operate the system on the day it ships.

What do you keep?

Your accounts, your logins, your runbook.
  • Every tool bought and owned by you, never resold through us
  • A written runbook per system, updated as the system is built
  • Tool agnostic in practice, not in theory
You end up with:nothing left behind that only we can operate.

What will we not do?

No black boxes, at any layer.
  • Every AI step has an input you can inspect and an output a human can check
  • Nothing writes to the CRM on a rule you cannot read
  • No engagement starts on a data foundation we have not audited
You end up with:a system you can defend in a board meeting, line by line.

Where has the founder been a guest?

Seven appearances on other people's shows, five on video and two audio. Jorge takes the same questions we get on sales calls, and none of it is produced by us.

Who does the work?

Who does the work

The GTM Engineering Company

Senior engineers do the work, and the engineer who scopes a build is the engineer who builds it. No account manager sits between you and the person writing into your CRM, and what that person is like to sit in a room with matters as much as what they can build.

Who is on your calls?

Senior engineers, on your calls.
  • The engineer who scopes the build is the engineer who builds it
  • No account manager sitting between you and the person in the CRM
  • Specialists brought in by name when a build needs one
You end up with:one person you can ask a hard question and get a straight answer from.

How we hire and train

On live builds, in the open.
  • We hire sales and ops people who already automated part of their own job
  • They learn on real client builds, recorded, with the runbook written as they go
  • The same material the school teaches, applied to work that ships
You end up with:the next wave of GTM engineers, trained on systems that are in production.

How we work together

A weekly rhythm, in writing.
  • One working session a week, with the build on the screen
  • Everything in your stack, under your logins, from day one
  • A typical engagement is 3 to 6 months at 5 to 10 hours a week
You end up with:a standing hour that produces a system instead of a status update.

What we believe about the work

Infrastructure before AI.
  • AI on a bad data foundation is an expensive parrot, so the foundation goes first
  • Audit trails over black boxes, at every step a machine touches
  • Every system is one the client can own and operate without us
You end up with:the argument in full, in the manifesto directly below.

A letter from the founder

Manifesto

What we believe about go-to-market, and why the company builds the way it does.

We believe admin work is a crime scene, and every call note typed by a human hand is evidence. The machine logs the call, the MEDDPICC fields, the signals, the tech stack hiding in a job description, all while you were busy actually selling. Death to data entry. Nobody will miss it.

We believe everything that works eventually expires. The sequence printing meetings today is decaying while you read this. That is GTM alpha: the moment everyone runs the play, it becomes the benchmark. Your competitors bought the same playbook. That's the joke.

We believe in aiming before firing. Right companies, right people, and a real reason to reach out, from intent data, signals, or product usage. Spray and pray is a commodity that lost its alpha.

We believe the future is every channel at once, each a little more diluted than the last. LinkedIn, email, text, phone. Then your car's screen. Then, fine, the Neuralink. We'll be there first.

AI built on a shitty data foundation is a very expensive parrot, so we build infrastructure first, every time.

We are training the next wave of GTM engineers, our own version of the PayPal Mafia. The best of them will clear a million a year and still be underpaid.

Distribution is the moat now. Code got cheap. Attention never did.

GTM is art: creative work with a revenue number.

Soon we'll stop logging what happened and start building while we talk, the pipeline assembling itself mid-sentence. See you there.

Questions: what do people ask us?

Who founded The GTM Engineering Company?

The GTM Engineering Company was founded by Jorge B. Macías, who writes the manifesto on this page and hosts the thirty-minute intro call himself. He came up through B2B software sales: more than three years at BrainHi as its second sales hire, moving from SDR to Account Executive and then into Revenue Operations, a sales seat at Reprise, and then Account Executive at Offsite, where the Head of Sales, the Head of Marketplace, the Head of Customer Success and the Chief of Staff are all among the colleagues quoted on the case studies page. He is an industrial engineer by training, which is the habit the company runs on: the process first, then the system that carries it.

Is The GTM Engineering Company an agency?

It is a fractional go-to-market engineering team rather than an agency: senior engineers who build revenue infrastructure inside the client's own CRM and then hand it over. Every tool is bought and owned by the client and never resold through The GTM Engineering Company, every system ships with a written runbook, and nothing is left behind that only the company can operate. The engineer who scopes a build is the engineer who builds it.

What kind of companies does The GTM Engineering Company work with?

B2B technology companies that already have a CRM and a go-to-market motion, and a systems problem showing up as a pipeline problem. Named builds on the case studies page include Spara, Fluint, trumpet, Slate, NodeSource, IAG Real Estate and Modern GTM, and two engagements are anonymised at the client's request. Every one of them shipped inside the client's own CRM, with a walkthrough recording of the system being built.

How much of our team's time does an engagement take?

One working session a week, with the build on the screen. A typical engagement with The GTM Engineering Company runs 3 to 6 months at 5 to 10 hours a week, everything in your stack under your logins from day one. Quick wins land in the first 2 to 4 weeks and a full engine by day 90, and every build is recorded, so training is watching rather than shadowing.

Do you resell the tools, or do we own them?

You own them. Every tool in a build is bought and owned by the client and never resold through The GTM Engineering Company, and everything is built under the client's own logins from the first week. The company is tool agnostic in practice rather than in theory, and each system ships with a written runbook that is updated as the system is built.

Why does The GTM Engineering Company build infrastructure before AI?

Because AI built on a bad data foundation is an expensive parrot, so the foundation goes first, every time. No engagement at The GTM Engineering Company starts on a data foundation the company has not audited, every AI step has an input you can inspect and an output a human can check, and nothing writes to the CRM on a rule you cannot read. The point is a system you can defend in a board meeting, line by line.

GTM Engineering

Durable pipeline infrastructure, engineered into your CRM — signal-based outbound, enrichment, scoring, and attribution that compound.
